Great plateau elk (male).

Sharing the same habitat as the velvet antelope, these two species are usually found together, forming big herds on the massive plateaux of Kepler-22-b exoplanet. While the velvet antelopes are higher in number, they seek the protection of the gigantic great elk, one of the biggest animals on the planet.

The herds of antelopes, in return, give protection to the elk´s calfs until they reach the adult size.

Both these creatures lack a normal mouth and feed on the nutritious plancton that gets trapped on the plateau ponds and lakes after the frequent sea storms.
