Iridescent velvet antelope.

Native to Kepler-22-b, the velvet antelope is highly adapted to the rocky surface of the exoplanet. Lacking a proper mouth, it feeds on the zooplancton found on the numerous ponds that form on the plateau, filtering water through a porous membrane located on its face.

During the mating season, the male uses its crest as a courtship display, the tips of its feathered hairs becoming iridescent.
